TECHNIQUE
Prepare the major scales of C, G, D, A, and E as well as their parallel minor scales in the natural form; play two octaves with two hands, ascending and descending
KEYBOARD THEORY
Play V7 - I on a given leading tone; voicing should be as indicated on p 60
HARMONIZATION
Prepare two items: p 61/a and p 62/c
SIGHT READING
Sight read melody/chords in one of the scale keys
TRANSPOSITION
Transpose melody/chords from the original key to the tritone (you will transpose to one of the scale keys)
IMPROVISATION
With 2 hands, create a logical 4-bar phrase on a given meter and lead-sheet harmonic progression
